Initial Evaluation
Initial evaluations are 1-hour appointments during which we discuss your specific concerns, offer diagnostic feedback, and begin to collaboratively build a treatment plan for recovery.
Follow-up therapy sessions are typically 55-minute sessions where we work toward achieving your wellness goals.
Fees & Insurance
Dr. Smiley is in network for Blue Cross Blue Shield. For patients out-of-network, Dr. Smiley can provide a receipt after each session if you wish to submit a claim to your insurance company for personal reimbursement.
Parkside Psychological Services accepts cash or check at the beginning of each session. For questions related to fees, Dr. Smiley welcomes your call at 847.420.5088.
Board Certified
Dr. Smiley was board certified in clinical psychology in 2012 and continues to serve on committees nationwide to evaluate psychologists seeking this distinction.
Evening Hours
For your convenience, evening hours are available from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Saturday and Sunday appointments are also available.
