Initial Evaluation
Initial evaluations are 1-hour appointments during which we discuss your specific concerns, offer diagnostic feedback, and begin to collaboratively build a treatment plan for recovery.
Follow-up therapy sessions are typically 55-minute sessions where we work toward achieving your wellness goals.
Fees & Insurance
Parkside providers are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and United/Optum, and many are in-network with Medicare (and supplemental insurances). For out-of-network patients, a superbill can be provided after each session to support your submission for reimbursement to your insurance company.
Parkside Psychological Services can save a card to file for easy payment methods. For questions related to insurance/billing, please reach out to Dr. Smiley directly at paul.smiley@parksidepsych.
Board Certified
Dr. Smiley was board certified in clinical psychology in 2012 and continues to serve on committees nationwide to evaluate psychologists seeking this distinction.
Evening Hours
For your convenience, evening hours are available from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Saturday and Sunday appointments are also available.
